Where are we going in the fall break?
Now that the autumn holidays are approaching, Belvilla by OYO has delved into the numbers to find out where Dutch people are going this year.
During the autumn break (15-30 October), the Dutch go to:

Although the majority of Dutch bookings remain within the Netherlands, Belvilla by OYO has perceived an increase in the percentage of bookings to a holiday home abroad: from 51,7% last year to 61,3% this year. This concerns the neighboring markets Belgium and Germany in particular.
Length of stay
Although a change can be seen in the choice of holiday destinations in autumn, the length of stay is unchanged. For example, travelers are still choosing stays averaging five days, booking as early as 118 days in advance and making reservations for an average of eight guests.

· 35.3% booked the autumn holiday between 31 and 60 days before departure
· 11.9% booked autumn holidays between 120 and 180 days before departure

· 20.7% booked their autumn holidays more than 180 days before departure
· 36.5% booked the autumn holiday between 31 and 60 days before departure
· 11.9% booked autumn holidays between 120 and 180 days before departure

Among Dutch people, North Holland, Limburg and Overijssel are the most popular destinations for the autumn holiday. Looking at the total number of bookings (including other nationalities), Noord-Holland, Zeeland and Noord-Brabant are the most popular.
