Nationwide selection: Danland in Vigsø is this year’s holiday center in 2021 

One of the country’s largest holiday center chains, Danland, has just named this year’s holiday center in 2021 on the basis of annual turnover, rating and number of holiday homes for rent. This year, the prestigious title is awarded to Danland in Vigsø, which excels especially at a high level of activity.

North Jutland is a popular part of the country when it comes to holidays in Denmark. One of the places that has increasingly won the hearts of Danes is Vigsø Holiday Center in Thy, which has just been named “Holiday Center of the Year in 2021”.

It is one of Denmark’s largest holiday center chains, Danland, which is behind the award, which is awarded each year to one of the chain’s 24 centers on the basis of ratings from guests, number of holiday homes and gross rent increase. The winner is the holiday center that has received the highest overall rating in the three categories.

– I am incredibly proud that Vigsø Holiday Center has been awarded the title of “Holiday Center of the Year”, which can be attributed to our dedicated team, which every day works purposefully to create unique guest experiences. It is to their great advantage that we can receive happy guests all year round, receive good reviews and maintain and not least increase the number of holiday homes for rent, says Kirsten Nørgaard, who is department manager at Danland in Vigsø.

The holiday center in Vigsø has, among other things, had an increase of 140 percent in turnover from 2020 to 2021 and an average rating of 4.07 out of 5 in 2021.

Danland’s holiday centers in Gudhjem and Ho occupy second and third place respectively in this year’s inventory.
