Joining @Leisure: Warren Hammond as Chief Sales & Revenue Officer, Marie-Christine Osterop as Customer Service Operations Director and Jacob Aqraou as new member of the Board of Directors
The @Leisure Group has appointed Warren Hammond as Chief Sales & Revenue Officer (CSRO) and Booking.com’s Marie-Christine Osterop as Customer Service Operations Director. Hammond will run all aspects of the revenue side of the organization. Osterop will be responsible for the centrally managed Customer Service department. Jacob Aqraou joins the Board of Directors to advise the company strategically.

Hammond is a strong sales leader who has consistently built strong sales teams that have scaled quickly whilst building and executing go-to-market plans across markets and geographies. As an Englishman he settled in Amsterdam in 2004 when he was appointed as Commercial Director at CPM Netherlands. Hammond then joined Monster as Sales Director in 2005. After leading European sales teams for Monster, Warren served as the Managing Director for Monster Benelux. In 2014 he started at the job aggregator Jobrapido as the Senior Vice President Worldwide Sales helping to transform the business into a B2B player. In 2016 Hammond returned from Italy and started working with fast growing companies – including Belvilla.
Osterop’s mission is to deliver Customer Service excellence. In her previous role as Regional Director Customer Service at Booking.com, she created and implemented new ways to better service customers and grew their service organization from 500 to 5,000 employees. Before Booking.com, Osterop worked at Office Depot in 2008, where she redesigned the organizational structure towards one region and developed and implemented an overall Customer Service strategy. While working at Essent (2002-2007) she introduced the Lean philosophy to all service and sales processes. Osterop started her career at KPN where she fulfilled various roles.
Jacob Aqraou is not new to the @Leisure Group. He has been an investor in and advisor to the company from 2010 to 2015. Previously, Aqraou built successful marketplaces and communities at eBay for over ten years.
The role of Chief Sales & Revenue Officer is newly established within the @Leisure Group. Osterop will succeed Natascha van de Pas, who decided to leave the company after 7 years.
