About the role

The Customer Service Trainer is responsible for ensuring OYO Vacation Homes provides the highest possible quality of customer service for its guests, partners and homeowners by training in- and outbound agents in relation to sales, customer support, and/or other areas. The customer service trainer is responsible for ensuring that new and existing CS staff is knowledgeable in all aspects of the company’s offerings and that there is a high level of quality control. Designing competency tests, teaching phone and email communication skills, maintaining the knowledge base and reporting results to superiors and teammanagers are all required parts of the job. Trainers are also responsible for implementing new teaching and training techniques, as well as evaluating existing techniques.

What you need

  • 2 yrs training experience within a Customer Services environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • MS Office.
  • Knowledge of E-learning development tools.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch.
  • Flexible in adapting work forms if needed

Tasks

  • Collaborate with (team)management and project coordinators to identify company training needs. List the specific skills and knowledge requirements for each minimum skill.
  • Define, design and set up training material, implement an effective training curriculum (depending on the methodology: classroom, on the job, e-learning, webinar, gamification).
  • Define and design a verifiable and tracible outcome for each (re)training (i.e. pass rate).
  • Schedule and execute (group) training sessions, both inhouse as well as externally, abroad.
  • Oversee and direct workshops, individual training sessions (i.e. E-learning)
  • Supervise training budgets.
  • Actively monitor and adapt Knowledge Base.
  • Develop monitoring systems to ensure that all employees are performing job responsibilities according to training. Annually review these.
