Booking plus for November & December in Austria for ski season.

Vienna, 24th October 2022 – Belvilla by OYO bookings for November and the Christmas season in Austrian vacation homes are in full swing. The bookings for 2022 are already just above those of 2021 at the same time and significantly above those of 2020. Belvilla has taken a closer look at the trends.

With just two months to go until the Christmas vacations, Belvilla bookings for the upcoming ski season are already running at full speed. The level of 2019 has not yet been reached, but bookings are on par and even 2 percent higher than 2021 at the same time and 18 percent higher than in 2020. At the same time, bookings by Belvilla guests from Austria have increased by 13 percent compared to last year and from Italy up as much as 150 percent. While bookings from Denmark have fallen by more than 50 percent. Generally one can observe with the Italians an increased travel desire, because guests from Italy made for November and December 2022 around 23 per cent more Belvilla reservations than last year to the same time.

Which guests do we expect in the Austrian vacation homes?
“Like last year, over 50 percent of Belvilla guests during the Christmas vacations are from Germany, followed by guests from the Netherlands with 20 percent. The most popular stay is 7 days, with the average stay being 6.2 days. Large houses for families or groups of friends averaging 8 people are also in demand again this year”, explains Danijel Nikolic, Managing Director Belvilla by OYO Austria.
